CBS VFX breaks the glass ceiling on Tommy.

Tommy, staring multi Emmy Award winner Edie Falco, is about a former high-ranking NYPD officer who becomes the first female chief of police for Los Angeles. She is a true-blue New Yorker, Abigail, “Tommy” Thomas uses her unflinching honesty and hardball tactics to keep social, political and national security issues from hindering effective law enforcement.

The concept for the promo was to show in a visual way there’s a new police chief in town who is shattering the glass ceiling in male dominated police force. 90% of all of the glass was built in 3D and meticulously placed into each scene with dynamic realism. The glass shards were built in Maya for all the 3D falling glass.
